Friendly Nettle was founded in 2020 by Chef Hans Barr. Hans is the kind of guy that belongs in the kitchen! With several food ventures under his belt, Hans combines inspiration from his travels and an inquisitive mind to create eclectic flavors. Committed to serving the best dishes possible, Hans frequently travels to Tacoma to procure hard to find ingredients, utilizes produce from local farms, and even goes foraging for herbs, vegetables, and mushrooms!
